- WHO: The families of Marine CPL Riley Baker and LCPL Matthew Pathenos present the Riley Baker & Matthew Pathenos Memorial Motorcycle Ride & Washer Tournament
- WHAT: Riders and tournament participants will enjoy a beautiful ride and a day playing washers, while supporting the USO of Missouri.
Ride registration begins at 9 a.m. Ride begins at 11 a.m. Washer tournament begins at 11 a.m.
- WHERE: The ride will begin at Shady Jack's Bar & Grill (1432 N. Broadway, St. Louis) and will travel to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery then will proceed to 1811 Grand Army Rd., Labadie.
The washer tournament will take place at 1811 Grand Army Rd., Labadie.
- WHY: Marine Cpl. Riley E. Baker was a 2002 graduate of Eureka High School. He was a stand out athlete, lettering in football and wrestling. In 2002 he became the school's first-ever Missouri State Champion wrestler. He enlisted in the Marines in February 2004 and was a Scout Sniper Team Leader of the 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Expeditionary 2nd Marine Division earning a Bronze Star with Valor. On June 22, 2006 Cpl. Baker was killed in action in the Al Anbar Province in Iraq.
Marine Lcpl. Matthew P. Pathenos graduated from Parkway South High School. He was an accomplished pilot and golfer, playing throughout high school. In 2003 and enlisted in the Marines and became a radio man in communications with the 3rd Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment, and 4th Marine Division. On February 7, 2007 Lcpl. Pathenos was killed in action in Fallajah, Iraq

It is a nonprofit, charitable organization and relies on donations from private citizens and corporations. Currently, the USO operates more than 130 centers in 9 countries, 21 states and the District of Columbia.

3rd ANNUAL RIDE FOR THE ANIMALS, A POKER RUN/BIKE SHOW to help our animals. This event is Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, beginning at Skyline Motel, Osage Beach, Missouri, riding the route approx 60 miles, Ending at Surdyke Yamaha, Osage Beach, Missouri. Begins 11:00 am with last bike out at 1:00. Will include a scavenger hunt on route, lunch provided by Surdyke Yamaha, Bike Show with trophies, Door Prizes, Dunking Tank (each group must offer a victim) 50/50 and much more. $15.00 First Hand and $5.00 extra hands. Saturday, September 202008 B.A.D. Ride Fundraiser to benefit the American Diabetes Association. Presenting is sponsor Doc's Harley Davidson. This is a ride with multiple start sites, all ending at Route 66 State Park in Eureka, MO. The ride will start at 9:00 am (start time may vary by location) and will end at the festival site at 10:00 am. There will be live music, food, bike games, a bike show, raffles and more! Riders who wish to participate just need a minimum of $30 in donations ($35 day of the event). Passengers just need a minimum donation of $20. Raise $500 or more and receive a special invitation to our VIP Party on Friday, September 19th! All proceeds go to the American Diabetes Association. For more information, go to
